David C asked:

I have a 2006 Ford Explorer 4X4. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a lift that could be applied to it. I know Rancho makes a quicklift for a 2006 Expedition does anyone know if that would fit? Keep in mind I have 4 wheel ind. suspensions and need 4 (four) new coilover struts or strut spacers. I am not looking to go huge, just was to fit some 33″ tires and get more ground clearance for the trails. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Lincoln Air Suspension

I am not mechanically inclined but have a little knowledge and common sense. Is it out of the question to do the labor myself? Would it be worth paying the mechanic $400? That’s what I was quoted for labor. Kit costs $550. Any cheaper methods? Ford said they cant even look at it because the wiring going into the module is corroded and has to be fixed before they can figure out whats wrong.

Pontiac Air Suspension Conversion Kits
